During this two-day symposium, multiple sessions were held in the form of keynote speeches, panel discussions, and presentation of article summaries. Internationally renowned figures alongside psychoanalysts, psychotherapists, and candidates for psychoanalytic therapy from Iran presented their discussions.
The "Beyond the Pleasure Principle" symposium, organized by the Tehran Center for Psychoanalytic Studies in collaboration with the Siavoushan Psychology Center, was held on the 13rd and 14th of may 2021 in a virtual format. The motivation for holding this symposium was the centenary of the publication of Sigmund Freud's text “Beyond the Pleasure Principle.” In this symposium, prominent Iranian and non-Iranian figures presented their ideas and articles.

He himself trained in Seattle, USA, becoming an IPA member, and returned to Iran nine years ago.
